Rejvi Kaysir is a Professor and Director of the "PHOTONICS RESEARCH GROUP" in the Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering (EEE) at the Khulna University of Engineering & Technology (KUET), Bangladesh. In 2021, He joined the University of WATERLOO, Canada as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow and worked with Prof. Dayan Ban and Prof. Mahla Poudineh (IDEATION LAB). He obtained his Ph.D. from the Institute of Photonics and Optical Science (IPOS) group at the University of Sydney, Australia (2017). After finishing his Ph.D., he took up a post-doctoral position with the School of Physics, University of Sydney, Australia. He received his B.Sc. and M.Sc. Engineering degrees in EEE from KUET, Khulna, Bangladesh in 2009 and 2012, respectively. His research interest includes biosensors, wearable sensors, laser photonics, solar concentrators, modeling, and fabrication of optoelectronic devices.
