IEM Association of KUET celebrated farewell of `07 batch and freshers’ reception of `11 batch students on 20 June, 2012 at the University Auditorium. Vice-Chancellor Prof. Dr. Muhammed Alamgir graced the occasion as the Chief Guest while Prof. Dr. A N M Mizanur Rahman, Dean, Faculty of ME, Prof. Dr. Ashraful Ghani Bhuiyan, Dean, Faculty of EEE, Director (Students Welfare) (current charge), Prof. Dr. Muhammad Harunur Rashid were present as the Special Guests. Prof. Dr. Tarapada Bhowmick, president of IEM Association and Head of IEM Department presided over the ceremony. At the ceremony fresh student were received with flower and crest handed over to the graduate student by the guests. Among others the teachers and students of IEM Department and others were present in the function.
