Rokeya hall of KUET, at its premises, celebrated Freshers’ reception of `11 batch on 26 December, 2012. Vice-Chancellor Prof. Dr. Muhammed Alamgir graced the occasion as the Chief Guest. Dean of Faculty of Mechanical Engineering Prof. Dr. A N M Mizanur Rahman, Director (Students Welfare) Prof. Dr. Muhammad Harunur Rashid were present as the Special Guests at the Ceremony. Provost of Rokeya hall Prof. Dr. Mohammad Abu Yousuf chaired the function. At the ceremony fresh students of Rokeya hall were received with flower and gift. Among others teachers from various Departments, others students of the hall were also present. Later, a cultural program held at the same place performed by the students of Rokeya Hall.
