Lalan Shah Hall of KUET, celebrated Freshers’ reception of `13 batch and Farewell of `09 batch on 27 June, 2014 at 7:30 pm. Vice-Chancellor Prof. Dr. Muhammed Alamgir graced the occasion as the Chief Guest. Dean, Faculty of Civil Engineering Prof. Dr. Shibendra Shekher Sikder, Dean of Mechanical Engineering Prof. Dr. Md. Syed Ali Molla, Dean of Electrical & Electronic Engineering Prof. Dr. Md. Nurunnabi Mollah present as the special guest. Provost of Lalan Shah Hall Prof. Dr. M.M. Touhid Hossain chaired in the function. At the ceremony previous assistant provost Dr. Md. Abul Hashem also farewelled by the flowers & gifts and new assistant provost Md. Helal-An-Nahiyan welcomed by the flowers. Fresh students of the hall received with flowers and outgoing graduate students handed over the crest by the Chief Guest in the function. Among others teachers from various departments, others students of the hall were also present the function.
