A Discussion Meeting for the 39th death anniversary of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman and National Mourning Day was held at KUET Auditorium on August 14 at 04:00 pm. Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr. Muhammed Alamgir was present there as the Chief Guest while Prof. Anwarul Kadir was present as the Chief Speaker.

Prof. Dr. Shibendra Shekher Sikder, Dean, Faculty of Civil Engineering , Prof. Dr. Md. Syed Ali Molla, Dean, Faculty of Mechanical Engineering present there as the Special Guest. Prof. Dr. Osman Goni, Director (Students’ Welfare) presided over the Discussion Meeting. Among Others Provost of BSMR Hall Dr. Sobahan Mia, Deputy Director (Students’ Welfare) Dr. G.G. Md. Nawaz Ali, librarian Akkas Uddin Pathan, Deputy Registrar G.M Shahidul Alam, staff Imrul Islam and Student Rahul, Symun, Habib, Shaykat, Shahadat spoke on the meeting. Other faculty members, officers, employees and students were present at that time.
