The final match of Inter Hall Cricket Tournament 2014 of KUET was held on 28 February, Saturday at KUET central play ground. Dr. M.A. Rashid Hall got the honour of being the Champion defeating Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman Hall by 7 Wickets. Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman Hall was awarded the Runner-up trophy. Vice-Chancellor of KUET Prof. Dr. Muhammed Alamgir was present in the final match as the Chief Guest. Vice-Chancellor enjoyed the final match and awarded the Champion & Runner-up trophies, prizes to individual players, man of the match. Director ofv Students’ Welfare (in-Charge) Md. Osman Goni Nayeem was in the chair. Among others Prof. Dr. Shibendra Shekher Sikder, Dean, Faculty of Civil Engineering, Prof. Dr. Md. Abdul Motin, Provost, Dr. M. A. Rashid Hall, Dr. Hussain Md. Abu Nyeem, Provost, Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman Hall, Taj, Captain of Dr. M. A. Rashid Hall, Jahid, Captain of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman Hall spoke on the prize given ceremony. Teachers, Officers, Staffs, viewers and many more students were also present in the final match and in the prize-giving ceremony.
