- International Women's Day celebrated and Annual Dinner held at Rokeya Hall of KUET

Bangladesh needs concerted efforts to change society’s outlook on women, participants say at an International Women’s Day function of KUET Rokeya Hall. Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Muhammed Alamgir inaugurated the event at the university’s Rokeya Hall on 8 March at 7 pm. A discussion was also held as part of the programme. Vice-Chancellor Prof. Dr. Muhammed Alamgir and his wife Meherunnesa Lota, Md Mostafa Kamal, DC of Khulna District, Dean of Faculty of EEE Prof. Dr. Md. Nurunnabi Mollah, Provost of Rokeya hall (in-charge) Shuheli Shaila Ahmed, Assistant Provost of Rokeya Hall Monika Gope and Mehnuma Tabassum Omar took part in the discussion. A cultural program related to the Women’s Day also held perform by the rokeya hall students. Later all the guests attend the annual dinner of Rokeya Hall.
