Mechanical Engineering (ME) Department of KUET, celebrated farewell of `10 batch students and fresher’s reception of `14 batch students on 26 April, 2015 at the University Auditorium. Vice-Chancellor Prof. Dr. Muhammed Alamgir graced the occasion as the Chief Guest. Dean of Mechanical Engineering faculty Prof. Dr. Md. Syed Ali Molla, Head of ME Department Prof. Dr. Md. Nawsher Ali Moral, General Manager of Hamko Group Md. Habibur Rahman spoke on the occasion as the Special Guests. President of ME Association Prof. Dr. Khandkar Aftab Hossain Presided over the ceremony. Among the Faculty member of ME Department Prof. Dr. A. N. M. Mizanur Rahman, Associate Prof. Dr. Sobahan Mia, Assistant Prof. Md. Helal-An-Nahiyan, Lecturer Md. Mahbubur Rahman delivered their valuable speech. Among the Students Sourin Barua, Amanullah Kabir, Mahbubur Rahman, Shajid Hasan, Hasan Iqbal, Najmul Hasan, Alkama Roni, Pranto Karua spoke on the occasion. At the ceremony fresher’s were received with flower and crest handed over the graduates students of ME Department by the guests. Among others teachers, officers, staffs and students of ME Department were present in the function.
