Khulna University of Engineering & Technology (KUET) organized a day long teachers training program for the KUET teachers. KUET VC Prof. Dr. Muhammed Alamgir inaugurated the program at conference room of the university administrative building on 09 May at 8.30 a.m. In inauguration speech he said, “A good teacher can be produced a lot of teachers. Teachers should develop appropriately through education and training.Education is the backbone of a nation. The more educated nation, the more advanced nation . There is no substitute of education for national development. We need a good teacher to educate a nation .” In the day long program the topics were- professional ethics of university teacher, duties and responsibilities of university teachers, university laws, provision, regulation and statute, provision of vacation, vacation for higher education. vacation for post doctoral, lien, teaching methods, questionnaires formulating, testing, audit, university academic ordinance, regulations of CRTS and research projects etc. Prof. Dr.Sanjoy Kumar Adhikary, Agro Technology Discipline of Khulna University & the Syndicate Member of KUET, Prof. Dr. Shibendra Shekher Sikder, Dean of Civil Engineering Faculty, Prof. Dr. Md. Nurunnabi Mollah, Dean of Electrical & Electronic Engineering (EEE) Faculty, Prof. Dr. Md. Syed Ali Molla, Dean of Mechanical Engineering Faculty, Prof. Dr. Bashudeb Chandra Ghosh, Director of IICT, Prof. Dr. Md. Abul Bashar, Director of IDM participate in the discussion on the program. Teachers of various departments of KUET participated in the training program. Registrar Md. Abdur Rouf, Deputy Registrar G M Shahidul Alam were also present in the program.
