High official representative from the Ministry of Education, Ministry of Planning and Bangladesh University Grants Commission (UGC) visited the ongoing development projects in KUET on 30 January 2016. The team members were the Chief Planning Sopon Kumar Ghosh, Deyuty Chief Md. Imrul Mohsin, Assistant Chief Nishat Zahan of Education Ministry, Director (Planning & Development) Dr. Nasima Rahman, Senior Assistant Director Md. Atoar Rahman of UGC and Md. Moshiur Rahman, Deputy Director, IMED, Planning Ministry. The team members were visited every construction works and development activities of the project titled “Development of Infrastructure Facilities of KUET” and other ongoing projects as well. The team members were expressed their satisfaction to saw the smoothly running of the construction works of the projects at KUET.

A meeting also held in the Conference Room of Administrative Building. VC of KUET Prof. Dr. Muhammed Alamgir presided over the meeting. Dean of Civil Engineering Faculty Prof. Dr. Md. Mahbub Alam, Dean of Mechanical Engineering Faculty Prof. Dr. Md. Syed Ali Molla, Director (Planning & Development) Prof. Dr. Shibendra Shekher Sikder, Chief Engineer A.B.M. Mamunur Rashid, Deputy Director (Planning & Development) Md. Anisur Rahman Bhuiyan, Executive Engineer Dr. Engr. Md. Julfikar Hossain were present in the meeting.
