In the first quarter of the year 2011, the major tournament of students such as Inter Hall Cricket, Volley Ball and Badminton were completed successfully organized by the Director of Students’ Welfare. Prof. Alamgir, the Vice-Chancellor of KUET distributed the Championship trophy to the Champion team. In Cricket, Lalan Shah Hall, in Volley Ball Dr. M.A. Rashid Hall and while in Badminton Amar Ekushey Hall became the champion. Prof. Dr. S.S. Sikder, DSW, Provosts of the  hall, Deputy and Assistant DWS, teachers, officers, employees and a good number of students enjoyed the games and presented in the prize giving ceremony.  Prof. Alamgir thanked to all concerned for the hard work to complete the tournament successfully and he also urged the students to engaged themselves also in the co-curriculum activities because without good health and mind one cannot concentrated in the study and research.
