High official representative from the Ministry of Education, Ministry of Planning and Bangladesh University Grants Commission (UGC) visited the ongoing development projects in KUET on 30 April, 2016. The team members were the Chief Planning of the Ministry of Education Sopon Kumar Ghosh, Deputy Chief of the Ministry of Planning Md. Moshiur Rahman, Director (P & D) of UGC Engr. Md. Abdur Rezzak, Deputy Chief of Education Wing of Planning Commission Md. Imrul Mohsin, Senior Assistant Director of UGC Md. Atoar Rahman, Deputy Chief of Education Wing of Planning Commission Provash Chandra Ray, Senior Assistant Chief of Education Ministry Asma Nasrin, Director In-Charge (P & D) of UGC Dr. Nasima Rahman, Deputy Director of Planning & Development of UGC Md. Shafiqur Rahman, Assistant Chief of Education Ministry Nishat Zahan, Deputy Director of Planning & Development of UGC Nur Mohammed Mollah were visited every construction works and development activities of the project titled “Development of Infrastructure Facilities of KUET” and other ongoing projects as well.

A meeting also held in the Conference Room of Administrative Building. VC of KUET Prof. Dr. Muhammed Alamgir presided over the meeting. Representative of Education Ministry, Planning Ministry, UGC and Dean of Civil Engineering Faculty Prof. Dr. Md. Mahbub Alam, Director (P & D) Prof. Dr. Shibendra Shekher Sikder, Chief Engineer A.B.M. Mamunur Rashid, Project Director Md. Anisur Rahman Bhuiyan, Executive Engineer Dr. Engr. Md. Julfikar Hossain were present in the meeting.
