On 25 January 2011, Deputy Counselor Chief and Student’s Advisor of USA Embassy in Bangladesh, Mr. Bill Hammaker and Ms. Israt Jahan, respectively, with a team from the embassy of USA visited KUET and attended in a discussion meeting with the students and teachers at the Auditorium of KUET to explain the systems and scopes for the Higher Studies and Visa processing for USA. In the event, the visiting experts explain various aspects of higher studies in the USA universities and recent steps taken by the embassy to make process easier to get USA visa. Prof. Alamgir, the Vice-Chancellor of KUET handed over the KUET crest to Mr. Bill Hammaker as a token of appreciation for visiting KUET.
