Khulna University of Engineering & Technology (KUET) celebrated the recognition of the historic 7th March speech of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman as a world documentary heritage. Vice-Chancellor of KUET Prof. Dr. Muhammed Alamgir paid homage to Bangabandhu by placing wreaths at the portrait of the Bangabandhu. To mark the day a joyful procession also brought out with the Teachers, Officers, Staffs, Students of the University and University’s School led by the Vice-Chancellor. Director (Student Welfare) Prof. Dr. Sobahan Mia and President of KUET Chattra Leage Md. Abul Hasan Shovon were also present there and delivered their speech. The United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organisation (UNESCO) on October 30 recognised the Bangabandhu’s historic March 7 as part of world’s documentary heritage.
