Khulna University of Engineering & Technology (KUET) celebrated Saraswati Puja, one of the religious festivals of the Hindu community on 22 January 2018, with traditional gaiety, religious fervour and spirit of pursuit of art and knowledge which Goddess Saraswati provides. The Hindus worship Saraswati, the Goddess of knowledge, music, art and culture, on the Vasant Panchami day with pomp every year mostly in educational institutions, where the students seek the blessings of Goddess Saraswati. Vice-Chancellor of KUET Prof. Dr. Muhammed Alamgir, Director (Students’ Welfare) Prof. Dr. Sobahan Mia, Head of Physics Department Prof. Dr. Shibendra Shekher Sikder, Provost of Dr. M A Rashid Hall Prof. Dr. Pintu Chandra Shill, President of Puja Udjapon Committee and Assistant Professor of EEE Department Dr. Kalyan Kumar Halder, Teachers, Students, Officers, Staffs were present there.
