Khulna University of Engineering & Technology (KUET) observed the Genocide Day in a befitting manner on the University campus. On 25 March at 7:00 PM teachers, students, officers and employees gathered and brought out a procession of candle light led by the Dean, Faculty of ME Faculty Prof. Dr. Mihir Ranjan Halder to remember March 25, 1971, the darkest night in the history of Bangladesh. Later, a discussion meeting held in front of Student Welfare Centre to mark the Genocide Day. Dean, Faculty of ME Prof. Dr. Mihir Ranjan Halder delivered speech as Chief Guest. Among other Registrar G M Shahidul Alam, General Secretary of Bangladesh Chattra Legue, KUET Sadman Nahiyan Sejan delivered speech. Director (Student Welfare) Prof. Dr. Sobahan Mia presided over the program.
