On 01 January 2020, new books for the students of class one to nine “Textbook Festival 2020” as a part of countrywide free textbooks distribution program held at Khulna Engineering University School & Unmesh Govt. Primary School at 10 am. G. M. Shahidul Alam, Registrar of KUET; A. B. M. Mamunur Rashid, Chief Engineer; Prof. Dr. Jolly Sultana, Dept. of Physics; Prof. Dr. Md. Rafizul Islam, Department of Civil Engineering were present as the guests in the program.

The guests, in their speech, advised students to study attentively and regularly because the fortune of Bangladesh depends on their success. They also thanked and expressed their gratitude to the Government of Bangladesh and the related ministry for countrywide distribution of new textbooks to the students at the very first day of the New Year. Among others, Ayesha Siddika, Headmaster of Khulna Engineering University School; Md. Akbar Hossain Sarder, Headmaster of Unmesh Govt. Primary School; Md. Bellal Hosain, Headmaster of Khulna Engineering University School (Primary Section), assistant teachers of these schools, students, and guardians were also present at the occasion.
