A day-long workshop on "Entrepreneurship with IT Innovation" was held at Khulna University of Engineering & Technology (KUET) at the Distance Learning Theater (DLT) of KUET on 28 December, 2019. The workshop was organized by the Department of Computer Science and Engineering (CSE), KUET with the support from Hi-Tech Park Authority, ICT Division.

Honorable Vice-Chancellor of KUET, Prof. Dr. Quazi Sazzad Hossain inaugurated the workshop as the Chief Guest. Dean of Electrical and Electronic Engineering Faculty, Prof. Dr. Mohiuddin Ahmad; Project Director of Hi-Tech Park Authority, A N M Shofikul Islam; Director of IQAC, Prof. Dr. K. M. Azharul Hasan delivered their speeches as the Special Guests. Head of the Dept. of CSE, Prof. Dr. Md. Aminul Haque Akhand presided over the inaugural session. Prof. Dr. Khondaker Abdullah Al Mamun from United International University (UIU); Engr. Md. Miftah Uddin, CEO of Ubitrix Inc., USA; Engr. Abidur Rahman Mallik, Co-Founder & CTO of MazeGeek, Romony and Syed Tasdiq, Founder & CEO of STATA were the resource persons in the workshop.
