Three days long 7th International Conference on Mechanical, Industrial and Energy Engineering (ICMIEE-2022) was held at Khulna University of Engineering & Technology (KUET) on 22-24 December, 2022. Faculty of Mechanical Engineering of KUET organized the conference with the objective of ICMIEE to present the latest researches and results of scientists (Preferred students, PhD students, Post Graduate students, Faculties and Researchers). On 22 December at 09:30 am in the Inaugural Session Former Member of the University Grants Commission of Bangladesh (UGC) & Former Vice-Chancellor of KUET Prof. Dr. Ehsanul Haque was addressed as the Chief Guest. Vice-Chancellor of KUET Prof. Dr. Mihir Ranjan Halder was addressed as the Chief Patron. Pro-Vice Chancellor of KUET Prof. Dr. Sobahan Mia participated in the Conference as Special Guest. Welcome Speech was delivered by the Chairman of ICMIEE 2022 Prof. Dr. A. N. M. Mizanur Rahman and Vote of Thanks was delivered by the Secretary of ICMIEE 2022 Prof. Dr. Zahir Uddin Ahmed. Prof. Dr. Khandkar Aftab Hossain, Chair, Technical Committee and Prof. Dr. Mohammad Ilias Inam, Secretary, Technical Committee also dalivered Speech in the Inaugural Session. Approximately 300 eminent scientists, engineers, researchers and scholars from different universities from home and abroad participated in the conference. A total number of 107 technical papers, 4 Key-note lectures, in 17 parallel technical sessions where research scholars, experts, engineers, professionals of related field exchanged views among themselves.

The main objective of ICMIEE 2022 was to create an effective platform for researchers and technical experts to share their recent ideas, innovations and problem solving techniques in the vast areas of Mechanical, Industrial and Energy Engineering. It was the great opportunity for both researchers and industrial communities to meet, discuss and share their research outcomes in the field of Mechanical, Industrial, Energy, Leather, Textile, Mechatronics and Chemical Engineering.
