Fresher's Reception of the students of '21 batch and Farewell of outgoing graduate students of '17 batch of the department of Materials Science and Engineering (MSE) was held on 14 February at 03.00 pm at the Student Welfare Centre (SWC). Vice-Chancellor of KUET Prof. Dr. Mihir Ranjan Halder graced the occasion as the Chief Guest. Prof. Dr. Sobahan Mia, Pro-Vice Chancellor of KUET, Prof. Dr. Md. Shahjahan, Dean of the Faculty of Electrical and Electronic Engineering, Prof. Dr. Md. Foisal Hossain, Head of MSE Department, Prof. Dr. Md. Abdul Motin, Director (Students Welfare) were present as the special Guests. Wahidur Rahman Sajal, President, MSE Student Association presided over the ceremony. At the ceremony fresher’s students were received with flowers and crest handed over the graduate students. Among others teachers and students from MSE department were present in the function.
