Fresher’s Reception of the students of `21 batch and Farewell of outgoing graduate students of `17 batch of the department of Leather Engineering (LE) was held on 21 March at 04.30 pm at the Student Welfare Centre (SWC). Vice-Chancellor of KUET Prof. Dr. Mihir Ranjan Halder graced the occasion as the Chief Guest. Prof. Dr. Sobahan Mia, Pro-Vice Chancellor of KUET, Prof. Dr. Md. Shahidul Islam, Dean of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering were present as the special Guests. Prof. Dr. Md. Abul Hashem, Head, department of Leather Engineering presided over the ceremony. At the ceremony fresher’s students were received with flowers and crest handed over the graduate students. Among others teachers and students from LE department were present in the function.
