The inaugural ceremony of a three days-long workshop entitled as "Fundamentals of Library System Automation'' held on March 22, 2012 at 3:30 p.m. at the Departmental Seminar Room of CSE. VC of KUET Prof. Dr. Muhammed Alamgir was present as the Chief Guest and Prof. Dr. Naseem Ahmed, Dean (in-charge), Faculty of ME, Prof. Dr. Md. Bazlar Rahman, Dean, Faculty of CE, Prof. Dr. Ashraful Ghani Bhuiyan, Dean, Faculty of EEE were also present as Special Guests. Prof. Dr. K M Azharul Hasan, Sub-Project Manager, HEQEP presided over the ceremony. Librarian (in-charge) Md. Akkas Uddin Pathan delivered welcome address. On March, 24 at 5:00 p.m. closing ceremony of the workshop was held successfully at the CSE Seminar Room. VC Prof. Dr. Alamgir was also present there as the Chief Guest and distributed the certificate among the participants. In the workshop total 48 employs from different offices of KUET participated. This event is a part of activities of HEQEP project of UGC in KUET entitled as “Library System Automation”.
