The Bachelor of Science in Electrical and Electronic Engineering covers the fundamental aspects of Electrical and Electronic Engineering. Emphasis is also given on Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Economics, Mechanical Engineering and Basic Electrical Engineering courses in the first year. In the next three years the students are taught Electronics, Electrical Machines, Signals and Systems, Electromagnetic Fields, Digital Electronics, Numerical Analysis, Power System, Communication Engineering, Microprocessor, Electrical Measurement and Instrumentation, Control System, Power Electronics, Switchgear and Protection, Digital Signal Processing. The curriculum includes theoretical courses, laboratory works and different technical visits.There is a study tour organized for the final year students throughout country's important technical point. Now, Dr. Md. Jahirul Islam, Assistant professor is acting as undergraduate course-coordinator.
TheMaster of Science in Electrical and Electronic Engineering M. Sc. Eng (EEE) and Doctor of Philosophy in Electrical and Electronic Engineering PhD (EEE) are offered under postgraduate program. Postgraduate research includes Solid State Electronics, Solar cells,Artificial Intelligence, Signal Processing, Biomedical Engineering, Communication Engineering, Power Systemand Electrical Machines etc. Now, Dr. Md. Jahedul Islam, Assistant professor is acting as postgraduate course-coordinator.
