The research activity in the Department of IEM is concerned with the design and operation of automated systems, design and operation of production facility, quality control and assurance, production planning and optimization, advanced manufacturing and machining, operation modeling and material science, nano composite and molecular dynamics, inventory management, supply chain management, machining parameter optimization, manufacturing systems modeling and simulation, process development & modeling and computer aided process planning.
