Uprising the slogan “Logic & Dispute” a five-days long 1st Debater’s Premier Leage’2013 successfully held at Khulna University of Engineering & Technology (KUET). The competition took place at the auditorium of KUET. KUET Debating Society (KDS) organized the debate competition with the help of Director (Students’ Welfare) of the University. A total of 11 group (Bangali & English) participated in the Debate Competition. Vice-Chancellor of KUET Professor Dr. Muhammed Alamgir who is also the founder modaretor of KDS, was present there as the Chief Guest. He enjoyed a show debate and awarded prizes among the winners. Dr. Sobahan Mia, Assistant Professor of Mechanical Engineering Department, also moderator of KDS Presided over the Ceremony while Md. Selim Hossain, Assistant Director (Students’ Welfare) was present as the Special Guest. Anik Mollick, president of KDS, was also present there.

The team of Hafiz, Ashik, Zisha and Hafiz, Himel, Shafollo have been honoured as the Champion respectively in Bengali & English part of the Debate Competition. Oppositely, The team of Jhilik, Mashud, Shafollo and Raha, Imram, Shanjid have been rewarded as the runner-up respectively in Bangali & English part of the Debate Competition. Hafiz and Sakib have been honoured as the debater of the tournament respectively in Bengali & English part of the Debate Competition.

Teachers, Officers, Staffs, viewers and many more students were also present in the prize-giving ceremony.
