Prof. Dr. Muhammed Alamgir, VC of KUET, inaugurated “Teachers Club” at the 1st floor of the ‘Guest House cum Club Building’ on April 04, 2016 at 4 pm. At the inauguration ceremony, in a short speech, he said, teachers will be celebrate their various club activities smoothly here. He also mentioned, with the establishment of this club a long desire of the teachers are fulfilled. He also thanked Prime Minister, Education Minister, UGC and other relevant person for the finalization of this project. President of Teachers Association Prof. Dr. Shibendra Shekher Sikder, Head of Textile Engineering Department Prof. Dr. Mihir Ranjan Halder, General Secretary of Teachers Association Prof. Dr. Sobahan Mia, Chief Engineer A B M Mamunur Rashid spoke on the function. Later, Vice-Chancellor visited all the room of the club and a new TV handed over for the club. Teachers and Officers were present at the function.
