Newly elected Executive Committee of Teachers Association of KUET for 2020 term placed the floral wreaths on the Mausoleum of the Father of the Nation, Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman at Tungipara on 31 January, 2020. Special prayer was held for seeking eternal peace for Bangabandhu and his family members along with the other martyrs assassinated on August 15, 1975. Abdul Hasib; Assistant General Secretary, Protik Chandra Biswas; Sports Secretary, H M Abdul Fattah; Treasurer, Khondaker Mohammed Mohiuddin Ekram; Cultural Secretary, Shauni Priyam Sikder; Publication & Social welfare Secretary, Showmitra Kumar Sarkar; Members, Dr. Md. Elias Uddin, Prof. Dr. B.M. Iqramul Haque; Prof. Dr. Shahidul Islam, Prof. Dr. Kazi ABM Mohiuddin, Abu-Hena Mostofa Kamal and other teachers were present there.
