Bio

Zia Uddin Md. Chowdhury received his M.Sc. from the Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (BUET) in Environmental Engineering and B.Sc. from Institute of Leather Engineering & Technology, University of Dhaka in Leather Engineering. He joined the faculty of the Khulna University of Engineering & Technology (KUET) in 2012. Prior of KUET, he was the Technical Executive at Heim Leather Chem. GmbH, Bangladesh local office (Organosys). Mr. Zia's research focuses on sustainability issues related to the life cycle assessment of manufactured products. Other research interest includes water footprint and carbon footprint quantification of manufacturing product and processes. In addition, He has an inclination to waste management.
