On an average, about 30 students pursue their postgraduate education (M.Phil./Ph.D.) in the department of Mathematics. The Department offers 32 courses in the postgraduate level along with the required courses in the undergraduate departments to the respective students. At present 14 dedicated faculty members are playing their role in the teaching learning process in both undergraduate and postgraduate level. Both the major branches of mathematics, Pure and Applied, are handled here at postgraduate level.
